Hi Curtis,

I&#039;m sorry but I don&#039;t know... As I have said on here a few times, I&#039;m no expert on Mac OS and all I&#039;m soing is trying to point Mac users in a possible direction, I&#039;m sorry this is not working for you.

Please take a look at this thread from wher the info came from: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7273573 The folks there ARE Mac experst so hopfully they can help.

I&#039;m sorry but as I&#039;m no Mac expert all i can suggest is if you can&#039;t get this fix to work is to try looking on the thread it cam from, the guys there know what they are talking about and I hope you can find help ther.  Here is the link:

I&#039;m sorry it has not worked for you.

Just a thought though... Because the circuit that powers the LightScribe function in the drive is separate from the &#039;normal&#039; drive functions you may have a working (read/write) drive but it has lost its functionality.

Have you tried the drive on another system? If not, if you can, give it a go.
